Sarojini Naidu College is a very old and well reputed college for women. This college offers honours courses in seven science subjects and six in arts. Besides, the college has a Computer Centre and collaborates with Institute of Computer Engineers, India to offer certificate courses in Computer Application, Communicative English and collaborates with the department of I.T.,Government of West Bengal for offering a programme on Business Process and outsourcing training. This is very encouraging and challenging.The performance of the students in the university examination is very good in most of the disciplines.
The students are well disciplined and are actively involved in academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The work culture existing among the faculty and the discipline of the students is exemplary. The cordial relationship among the teachers, non-teaching staff, students and management is very good.
