South Point High School is a co-education,english medium school located at 82/7A, Ballygunge Place, 10, Mandeville Gardens Kolkata,West Bengal,700093.It is under the West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education.It has classes from class 6 till class 12.It is one of the largest schools in the world in terms of the number of students and teachers here. It has 13,500 students, 325 teachers and 225 non-teaching staff-members.
My school has a good library and very good physics,computer,chemistry and biology labs.The school also encourages a wide range of extra-carricular activities like Karate Training Classes,Art and Craft Exhibition,Yoga Classes,Inter-School Events, Atheletic Meet etc.The School also provides good medical facilities to the students,the teachers and the non-teaching staffs.
A very good quality of teachers can be found in my school which results in good performance by the students in the boards exams of class 10 and 12 and other entrance examinations including the IITs.
I am proud of my school.
