Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, New Delhi Review
The Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology is the college located in the Rajouri garden in Delhi.It has the good infrastructure building and well settled labs for the students which consist of the high quality tools and equipments for the students, The canteen is also there in the college which consist of high hygienic food for the students.
For the students who often wants some time to relax themselves, A separate Gurudwara is there in the college itself where every students is allowed to go and feel relax there.In every college the one thing which is for the concern for the students is the training and placement cell, I must say it has the good placement cell because in the recent year more than 70 percent of the students whom have got more than 70 percent of marks are get placed in the top companies of IT sector.For Example- In the year 2009-2010, The Microsoft has visited its campus and selected the 3 students of the computer science with the package of around 8-10 lakhs.
As far as the sports facilities is concerned, It has the excellent sports facilities for the students. The student also shows a excellent performance in the sports in comparison with the other colleges in the annual sports meet held every year.
The Problem with this college is its distance from the Metro and Bus stand is long, It is around 5-6 Kms far from the metro station and bus stand, If you want to reach to the college in the faster manner from any other area then you should have your own vehicle because the transport facility is not there and you have to choose the some other means of transport which is too much expensive for the students to travel.
The other thing is that it is the Sikh Minority college, The most of the students in this college are belongs to the Sikh category that means most of the stress laid on the students belongs to the Sikh minority.In every class you will have 90 Percent of the Sikh students and few of the students are not belongs to Sikhism.
At last I concluded that it is the good college for the students because good crowd and education facilities for the students along with the good placement cell but on the other side it is the Minority college for Sikhism which has more than 90 percent of Sikh in this college.
