St. Mary's High School (S.S.C.), Mazagaon, Mumbai Review
The St. Mary School has classes from primary to Std.X. Two levels of maths are offered as options for students in the senior school. A unique feature of this school is the mentorship program, wherein 1 teacher is assigned to a small group of students to act as their mentor and give counseling sessions.
The St. Mary School campus is quite expansive, with a full-fledged outdoor basketball court. In fact, the campus is one of the largest in Mumbai. Table tennis and carom are some of the indoor games offered at the school. There are also 2 indoor gyms. The school has its own canteen. In addition, there is a state-of-the-art modern autitorium, science and computer labs and a library. The school does not have a hostel.
Other than the school annual day, field trips to museums are arranged for students, and each class goes on a picnic once in the academic year. Students are involved in social service projects too, one of which includes visiting a village.
Academic standards are very high at St.Marys High School, and discipline is rigorous. Every year students from this school feature in the merit list of the ICSE Board Exams.
