This school is located at Namunaghar Village. Even in the middle of many private schools, GSS Namunaghar has a good number of children. All students of this school come from Namunaghar, Hati tapu, Saithan kari and Dandus point villages. This school is giving a tough competition to the private schools of that area. It has all required infrastructure facility, but there is no canteen facility
Teachers of this school come from Port Blair area which is at a distance of 25kms. You can reach this school either by bus or by ferry from Juglighat or Chatam.

Good: Good academics, infrastructure and transport facility.
Bad: All teachers are coming from Port Blair so in case of ferry strike or adverse climatic conditons, they are not able to reach the school in time.
