This college also acts as a examination centre for National Eligibility Test (NET) and all UGC & UPSC examinations.

The whole campus is covered looks greenery and gives a feeling of soft touch. In the recreation area there were cemented benches built for the students of this college for gossiping with their friends. Throwing any bit materials or wastage inside the college campus are totally banned. Ragging is totally banned following the order issued by the Supreme Court of India.

A merit list was prepared for each courses and as according to the merit list the students get admission in the college. Almost all students get admitted in the college. Those who have marks less than cut off marks are also getting admission but not up to their choice. Instead as per the availability of seats in various courses.

The library of this college is complete in all respect having more than 10000 books. The students fully make use of this library. Book issuing facility provided to all students with a receiving card. If the books not returned within specified date & time then a fine may be charged as a penalty for not being returned in stipulated date.

Large number of students are from Inter Islands, so they really need a hostel. As a blessing to them there is a huge hostel having the capacity of accommodating more than 200 students. A separate hostel is provided for girls. Separate warden, a male lecturer appointed for boys hostel and a female lecturer appointed for girls hostel. All hostel inmates should adhere to the the rules and regulation of the hostel. If any one find indulging in betraying this rules then he/she may be expelled from the hostel under intimation to their parents.
