The Christ Nagar International School is situated at Kawdiar, in Trivandrum the capital city of Kerala State. The School started its functioning in the year 2004 by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) fathers of India. This congregation is started under the influence of Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the great educational visionary of the 19th century and the founder of CMI congregation.
CMI religious congregation is one among the biggest educational agencies in India which runs more than 400 schools and 35 colleges for higher education. In the city of Trivandrum. CNIS is the first CMI school to attain CIE status and the second in Kerala.
