Dr.K.Vasudevan who is founder and principal of Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School has worked hard to bring this school to Top Level. I know this school as it is near my home and many of neighbor friends studied and scored good marks. They have 2 branches. Main branch in madipakkam and another in Nanganallur. Read complete review

Review By: Nirmal Thangaiya    Review Date: 01 Aug 2009    Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School is located at two places in Chennai, one at Madipakkam and other at Nanganallur. The Prince Madipakkam school is run by Dr. K. Vasudevan and under his able guidance has achieved excellence. He is a great man and always sticks to his principles whatever the outcome may be. Even though he runs several institutions including Prince Engineering and Arts college it is his commitment and punctuality that makes many wonder. Now speaking as a student, this is a great school for book worms. There is little enjoyment for the taking. The school is very strict and consists only lady teachers who try their best but it is the quality of their paper correction and tough question papers which prepares the students for less competetive board exams. In this school it is a record if you score a 200 out of 200 in Mathematics. It happened twice till now since its inception. Students securing 185 - 190 marks will be the top scorers in an average year. This owes to strict correction where a small mistake(like addition) will lead to cancellation of entire question regardless of the steps written. Paltry step marks will be awarded like 1 or 2 for a 10 mark question even for mistakes at the end of the answers. It will be a night mare for students when they receive the answer paper. Coming to sports category if you are an ardent sports lover and would like to become a good sportsman then please avoid this school. For this school is not meant for those kind of things nor any extra cirricular activities such as singing, dancing e.t.c. No wonder many students achieve state ranks due to stiff competetion in the school. The school management never allows a student having less than 85% marks in 10th board exam to join Biology group or Computer group. So the students who study in this school are generally good. Every year at the least one student will get a state rank. So if anybody wishes to maintain a good score record then this is one of the best school in town. Read complete review
