In addition to the Central Library, a departmental library is also established with a good number of textbooks for the use of both faculty and students in every Department of the College.
The College's departments are actively engaged in research work. 13 students from Applied Mathematics are doing research leading to award of doctoral and M.Phil degree under the guidance of well qualified guides in the department and The faculty of the department has published 10 research papers in National and International journals.
The major laboratories in the Bio Chemistry department include two biochemical namely Microbiology Cell Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering one Advanced research lab and two Bio informatics Labs. All the laboratories are well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment worth about 75 lakhs and accessible to the students for conducting experiments.
The department of Bio Chemistry is actively engaged in research work. 28 students are doing research leading to award of doctoral/ M.Phil degree under the guidance of well qualified guides in the department and The faculty of the department has completed 4 research projects funded by various funding organizations such as UGC, APCOST and one ongoing project funded by GITAM University and has published 44 research papers in National and International journals of repute during the last five years. The faculty also published 2 book chapters.
All the laboratories are well equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment and accessible to the students for conducting experiments.

1) Plant Tissue Culture laboratory
2) Animal Tissue Culture laboratory
3) Instrumentation laboratory
4) Microbial and Industrial Biotechnology laboratory
5) Immunotechnology laboratory
6) Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering laboratory
The department of Biotechnology is actively engaged in research work. 11 students are doing research leading to award of M. Phil and Doctoral degree under the guidance of well qualified guides in the department. The faculty of the department has completed five research projects funded by UGC and has published 75 research papers in National & International journals during the last five years.
The Department of Environmental Studies laboratories are equipped with modern instruments like Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Ore microscope with Digital Camera and DG pro software, UV- Vis Spectrophotometers, Stack Monitoring equipment, Air monitoring kits, Noise pollution and Electro magnetic radiation monitoring kits etc. The department has good faculty strength in different fields of specializations.
The major laboratories in the department of Microbiology and Food Science & technology include six labs namely Mycology & Molecular biology, bacteriology & Immunology, Food & Nutrition, Food Analysis, Fermentation & Industrial Microbiology and Molecular biotechnology. All the laboratories are well equipped with the worth of 20 lakhs. 20 students are doing research leading to award of doctoral and M.Phil degree full time and part time and The faculty of the department have completed 12 research projects and 4 ongoing projects funded by various funding organizations such as UGC, HPCL, Steel plant, APCOST, Ministry of Science and Technology and GITAM University and has published 25 research papers in National & International journals.
