Sourashtra Girls Higher Secondary School, Madurai Review


This a linguistic minority school run by a management who were elected every three years by the members of this school council. This is one of the oldest school in Madurai.Two years back our school celebrated its Platinum jubli. Here only some Eighty-five years back the management of the school started free mid-noon meal scheme to poor students.The then Chief-minister of Tamilnadu Sri.Kamarajar who saw this implimented free mid-day meals all over the state.Now this management is providing morning tiffin also to the poor and deserved students.
