HISTORY
This medical college is establised on 1975 and flourishing by Mahant Tirath Singh Ji Sewapnathi. It is situated in the heart of rural city of Abohar, Punjab, India.

Earlier, the college was the old institution and the center of red cross society which was established by Henry Dunant. Now it is managed by Bhai Kanahaya Sewa Society, Bhatinda since 1st October 1990.

GENERAL FACILITIES
College has good area to accomodate all college and Hospital buildings. Its building and parks are spread in 20.5 acre of land. It's main building are for the laboratories, library and all departments and wards. It has 50 beds indoor Homeopathic hospital. It has a good facilities for college resident including hostels for the boy and girl students, which was opend on 2001. It has good laboratory facility with modern medical equipments like X-ray and analyzer machines. There is large library area which contains a huge number of books nearly 5000 and foreign and Indian journals on homopathy. It has outpatient department with 300 OPD daily.

EDUCATION
This college teaches Bachelor degree of Homeopathi Medicine and Surgery (BHMS).

It is for 4 and ½ years and one extra year for internship (compulsory).

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Admission age for BHMS is 17 year on 31st December. Candidate should pass 10+2 with science (Biology, physics, Chemistry and English). There are a large number of student (70) get admission every year in BHMS.

LABORATORIES AND DEPARTMENTS
It has well modern laboratory and nearly all major departments such as 1. Anatomy, 2 Physiology, 3 Pathology, 4 Pharmacy, 4 S.P.M., 5 M.Juris, 6 Organon of Med., 7 Materia Medica, 8 Repertory, 9 P.O.M., 10 Obs. & Gynae & 11 surgery Departments.

HOSPITAL FACILITIES
This hospital has very good number of OPD. In OPD, there are medical (2), surgical (1), Obs/Gynae (1) and Paediatric and Child Disease (1) wards with total 50 beds. The OPD patients are treated for no profit no loss basis. There are three vehicles for transporting patients and five dispensaries for rural and slum peoples. There is reasonal number of doctors and surgeons, radiographer and other staffs.
