Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology is located in the heart of the city, at patny center, Secunderabad, and is well connected to all parts of the city by public transport system.
Swami Vivekanand Institute of Technology (SVIT) is part of the Mahboob College campus located at Patny within walking distance (about 1.5kms) of Secunderabad Railway Station. Clock Tower bus stop right outside the college premises gives access to all parts of the city as well as the outskirts. Its location is perhaps the best amongst Engineering Colleges in Hyderabad with series of RTC bus numbers 5, 7, 8, 10, 21, 22, 23, 25, 40, 47, 49, 211 and more adding up to 150 bus services. Unlike most other engineering colleges, there's no college bus service – but with so many RTC buses doing the rounds, who needs it anyway!
