Dharmaprakash Shrinivasayya High School, Mumbai Review
D.S. High School is located near sion, behind Gurukrupa hotel. It is Marathi and English medium school. The school stop both primary and high school. It is for both, girls and boys. I personally when for the review and saw that it have been reconstructed 2 years ago. Before two years, the school was not appropriate to be there on a regular basis, as the building was getting weak, day-by-day.
But now, after the renovation, it is looking like a proper school and plus it is worth going there. It is 4 floored building and they do have facilities like laboratory, many classrooms, staff room and principals office. Educationwise the school is good, I wont say the best. But for an average income earning parents, the option of taking admission is good. The teachers are well qualified teachers, but they do have problem with the cleaning staff members. The area of the entrance was not tidy and also have issues with cleanliness in toilet and some passages too. They do have extra-curriculum activities going on the whole year like sports, annual functions, participation in other schools, inter- competition and many more.
But they need to take care about the hygiene of the school, which is not good for students coming everyday to study and using toilets and other parts of the school, which are not kept clean. Other than this, the school is good in other section of education. The school is also centre for SSC boards and they have a good reputation on the security level during exams held for SSC board. A well disciplined teachers with well behaved students.
