ETASI Timpany School in Asilmetta is one of the best and the oldest schools in the city. It is a Christian missionary school which is owned by Evangelical Trust Association of South India (ETASI) and was started in 1931. The school is located in Asilmetta which is a busy commercial area. And the school is easily accessible from all corners of the city. The school even has a couple of buses of its own which run in a particular route.

The school has two campuses one of which is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is located in C.B.M. Compound area of the city. While the other is affiliated to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education board (ICSE) and is located in Asilmetta.

The best part of the school is that the students need to communicate strictly in English language only which is quite beneficial for the students in improving their communicate skills in English and they find it very easy once they complete their education and place themselves in the employment.

ETASI Timpany School facilitates good sports activities as well as extra curricular and cultural activities. In most of the inter-school cultural activities / competitions in the city, ETASI Timpany School students out perform and the school stands in the first position in most of the inter school competitions in the city.

The students of the school are not too much stressed with home work. However, the best part of the school is that the students of have very good handwriting and almost all the students of the school are very good in English speaking.

The school works from 8.00 a.m in the morning till 2.00 p.m in the afternoon.
