University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is located at the foothills of Himalayan mountains in the capital of Uttrakand, Dehradun. The college is located at Bidholi, which is 13 kilometers away from Dehradun railway station and 16 clicks away from bust terminal. Dehradun is well connected with the capital (250 clicks away )through buses and 6 trains per day.
The University is spread over 30 acres spacious campus which houses 47 programs and 5000 students along with excellent infrastructure and spacious laboratories.
The college works with common window from morning 8 to evening 6 and each department have different class timings. The classes are furnished and equiped with projectors and other aids. This college has also successfully established SAP system.
The backbone of the college is its placement team which works around round the clock for internships and placement activities. The overall placement is good with top notch companies hitting the campus often. The state of art library is fully furnished and well euipped with journals, magazines, books which are needed for the budding professionals.
University conducts various cultural feasts and inter-college tournaments throughout the year. Uurja is one among them and it is a 3 day cultural event and other professional activities are undertaken.
The college has a cafeteria and two foodcourts to chill the nerves. Apart from that there are many place to hangout in and around the city.
The campus provides hostel facility only for boys with limited capacity. Other than that there are various hostel facilities in and around the campus and for girls there are University recommended hostels. The food provided at hostels is good with varied dishes and non-veg twice a week.
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and round the clock medical facilities.
Fees for B.Tech and M.Tech students is around 66000/- per semester
for MBA fees is 1,20,000/- per semester
In additional a student has to pay the following fees during his/her course of study.
