G.D goenka is an educational society which has a number of schools under its roof. The schools are mainly famous for their excellent teaching environment and its reputation in terms of teaching the students. Schools is having classes from Nursery to 12th class. School is having a campus of approx 3 acres.
Connectivity
The connectivity of the school is moderate. You have good connectivity from road and air but not from rail. Railway station is pretty far from the school. The school is around half away from the main. College is situated on the road where you can get the government and public transport as well.
Infrastructure
In this segment the schools tops the chart. A world class infrastructure is there. You have high class classrooms with high tech facility. A well stocked library with facility of e books is present. Proper sanitation facilities are present for the student. E-teaching aids like classroom projector are available in the school in every classroom. A large assembly ground and dedicated laboratory for students are in built in the campus. 24 hours security and power backup is also available in the school. School does not have a dedicated hostel for the students.
Sports facility
School is having all the basic grounds for playing. A good basket ball and volleyball court is there. Facility of swimming and taekwondo sports is also there. But I found the grounds for football and cricket very small. Indoor facility like table tennis is available and all good to their standards. Since school is very reputed and cares about the overall development of the students, so they organize many sports competition within and outside the school.
Transportation
A fully fledged fleet of school buses is present inside the campus. Buses are modern and comfortable with inbuilt Air conditioner and GPS navigation. Transportation is very good and needs no improvement. A dedicated transport department is there to look after the students.
Entertainment activities
The school is having a good space amphitheatre for cultural activities. School celebrates its annual functions in month of December and January. The school also have competitions like dance, music, singing, play etc. the personality development classes are organized to groom up students for future. This is the most important and best thing about school.
Outdoor programs
In single year you have lot of programs outside the school for example you have outdoor camping like Rock climbing etc. Some meritorious students are sent to international school as summer training program. Students from other countries also come here to study.
Academic Background
In this school you have lot of program for overall personality development. Modern teaching aids with well stocked library are worth here. Last year lot of students was awarded by the CBSE for outstanding performance in the academics. Teachers here are good and some of them are specialized in their field. Outdoor programs are organized for students of senior classes. Students are disciplined here and well mannered. For admission you have to work really work hard as the admission entrance is very hard and involves interview of parents too.
Hangout zone
Nearby by the school lot mall are there and there are good places to hangout. In mall you can find good eateries and other shops for shopping. Main market is around 2 KM away from the school. Vasant kunj have lot of housing society with their own parks, so you will enjoy the walk to the theses parks.
Fee and timing of school
Fee structure of the school is quite high and the reason is that lot of facilities are provided by the school which are not available in the other schools like international tours. So you can understand the reason of the high fee structure. I was not able to find out the exact fee structure due to some limitations. School timing is normal and school open at 7.30 A.M and closes on 1.00 P.M.
