Thejus engineering college is one of the best self financing engineering colleges in the Kerala. The college was started in the year 2009 with an intake of about 240 students to four steams of engineering. In the year 2011 the college has an intake of 420 students. The college aims to provide good education in the technical field in a higher level of quality. The college is owned by Cheruvathoor foundation. The infrastructure facility of the college is up to the standard. The academic performance of the students in various university exams is very good.
The college consists of very good staffs for guiding the students in a proper direction. There are various types of modern facility to improve the standard of classes. The college provides nice class rooms and lab facilities for the students. The lab facility includes all types of equipment that are required for the studies. The library includes more than fifty thousand books and it also includes a digital library for the students. The computer lab provides high speed internet facility for the students.
Canteen is really well furnished and large enough to accommodate all the students at a time. There are various types seminars are taking place in the college to show the talents of students. There is separate uniform for the student and this will help to identify the seniors and juniors. Transportation facility is available for students. The college encourages the students for their excellence in both studies and other activities like arts, sports etc.
The college provides placement training program for the students. This will help the students to become good professionals. The college is near the state highway between kunnamkulam and vadakkanchery.
