Introduction
K.N. Modi Institute of Technology, Modinagar was established in the year 1995 by K.N. Modi Foundation. Late Dr. K.N. Modi founded the college to impart quality education to the students in the field of science and technology. The college is affiliated to Gautam Buddha Technical University, Uttar Pradesh.
Location
The college is located at Modinagar, on the national highway, NH-58 and is at a distance of 32 km from Delhi border. The campus is spread in a huge area and is provided with all modern facilities and upgraded infrastructure.
Course offered
The K.N. Modi Institute of Technology, Modinagar offers the following six courses in B tech. Also it offers MBA and MCA course. Plus, it offer M. Tech course in Mechanical engineering(CAD).

The courses are approved by All India council for Technical education and also affiliated by Mahamaya Technical University, Noida.
The institute also provides BBA and BCA course which is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.
Admission and Fees structure
The applicant should have passed in the higher secondary examination with minimum 45% marks is eligible take admission after clearing the state entrance exam. The management seats are purely based on the merit. The fee structure is as like government rule, but they are not in agreement with Government about the seat and fees.
Infrastructure and Facilities
K.N. Modi Institute of Engineering and Technology college has upgraded infrastructure with all the modern amenities. The spacious campus is featured with high tech Wi-Fi facility. The infrastructure has been developed in a lush green area free with pollution. The campus consists of administrative block, academic blocks, men and ladies hostels, store, canteen, and gymnasium.
Central libraryThe institute's library is well- stocked with a large volume of books. The library is fully automated and is provided with all the latest national and international journals, e-journals and magazines related to science and technology.
LabsThe college provides well equipped lab facilities for the students of various departments. Well qualified faculties are provided to the students so that students may be able to learn modern and latest tools easily in the lab class. The college has computer labs with more multimedia facility and also network provisions. Various branch have various block of labs which are available in the academic block of the college. The lab is maintained well and student gets the entire required element from the lab. The college provides one of the excellent labs to the students. Also, the college provides linguistic lab to students to enhance their personality and communication skills.
FacultyExperienced and well qualified teachers are appointed to provide knowledge to the students. For the teaching aids the college provides OHP, Multimedia presentation facility, LCD Projector and computer audio video devices to provide interactive learning to students. The teachers have friendly approach towards the students. They always provide assistance and guidance to every student when required. Test series is conducted at regular interval to keep a check on student's performance.
HostelThere are separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel has all the facilities and is home away from home for the students residing there. Internet facility and a common TV room is provided in the hostel. The hostel provides excellent service for mess and canteen. The lush green lawn freshens up the mind of the students living there.
CanteenThe college campus also includes a canteen which offers a nice variety of dishes for both the students and the staffs. The Canteen is open on all the working days. The canteen provides moderately good food at a nominal rate.
Sports and extra-curricular activitiesThe college provides play grounds for football, cricket, basketball with a large area. Also, tennis and badminton courts is available in the campus. Billiard table, Indoor games,swimming pool and gymnasium is also present. Students are always encouraged to participate in sports and games competition events at the intercollegiate level held in IT-BHU, Varanasi and other technical colleges, every year. The institute also encourages to participate in other extra –curricular activities too. Thus the college creates an opportunity for the student to spread their skill in the respective fields of arts and sports to the public. The college organizes yoga classes and recreational programs for the students.
Training and placementThe college schedules necessary training for the students to get placed in a good organization. The training includes improving soft skill ability of the student. And the college has good placement record up to now.
Discipline
The college has well structured discipline. The management takes strict actions against those who participate in any type of offense.
Working time
The college is functioned on the time interval between 10.00 am to 4.30 pm. Lunch interval time is between 1.00pm to 1.30pm. Monday to Friday is the working day for college. On Saturday , the college is closed.
