Introduction
S.E.I.S College of Arts, Science and Commerce was established in the year 1960 by first chief minister of Maharashtra, Shri Y. B. Chavan. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai. Students come from across the country to seek admission for graduation and post- graduation courses. At present, the strength of the college is about 4000. The college is accredited NAAC ‘A' Grade and is ISO certified.
Location
The college is located at Sion(west) in Mumbai.The nearest station is Sion railway station and Guru Teg Baharadur station. The nearest bus station is Sion BEST bus depot.

S.E.I.S College of Arts, Science and Commerce offers the course for junior college, degree college , post graduation and doctoral programmes.

Admission Junior CollegeAdmission in Junior college is done on the basis of marks obtained by the students in the SSC Maharashtra Board examination or any equivalent examination from other boards approved by Maharashtra Board.
Degree CollegeThe applicant should have passed in the higher secondary examination or equivalent examination from Maharashtra board or any other source which is approved by University of Mumbai.
Infrastructure
S.E.I.S College of Arts, Science and Commerce has well- built infrastructure with all the modern amenities. The 33 lecture halls are well ventilated.
Central libraryThe 52 year old library is well- stocked with books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals, project reports, audio and video cassette of books and journals and braille books. The library is divided in two units. It has a conference hall, reading hall, reference book area and a section to photocopy relevant materials.
LabsThe college provides well equipped lab facilities for the students of science department and psychology stream of art department. Research laboratories is provide for departments of Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany & Zoology . The college has provided computer facilities and internet connection to all the departments and staff room.
FacilitiesFacultyWell- qualified and experienced teachers are present in the institute. For the teaching aids the college provides OHP, LCD Projector to provide interactive learning to students. Teachers always provide assistance and guidance to every student when required. An audio-visual hall is present for conducting seminars and workshops.
CanteenThe college campus has a corner known as Nestle corner. Hot and Cold beverages of Nestle products like coffee, tea, soups, noodles and a lot more are available here. Timings are 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Sports and extra-curricular activitiesThe college hires a sports ground for football, cricket, basketball and annual sports event. A well-equipped gymkhana is present where students can play table tennis, chess and carom. A fitness center is also available which is used by the students and the staff.
Training and placementThe placement cell of the college provides all the necessary facilities and makes arrangements for the benefit of the students. The reputed companies are invited for campus selection of the students.
