Belpahar Refractory's High School, Belpahar
Belpahar refractory's high school is the only higher secondary state board school in the Belpahar town area. School is located beside the jubilee market and TATA Refractory's ground. School is well connected by roads, almost from all the sides. School has one main entrance opening on the road side, opposite to which the TRL colonies are there.
B.R High School is also the only state board school in the township of Belpahar which gives education to students of class 1 to class 10. First group or lower primary students have their own building of one storied and there, students of class 1 to 5 study their courses. While for class 6 to 10 there is another building of 3 storied. School also has two different playgrounds for primary students and secondary's students. Both the school though comes under a single big boundary.
School also has a hostel facility for students. But school doesn't provide transportation facility. Students have to come to school on their own means. School has won many awards for its discipline and Go Green campaigns. School's result generally lies on the range of 95% to 100%.
B.R High school is also popularly known as ‘High school' by the localities. School has good reputation in the area in terms of quality of education provided and exposure of students to various fields.
School Timing starts from morning 9:45am and ends at 4:45pm in the evening.
Fees of school are very much affordable and hence most of the students of Belpahar town read there only. Fees for primary class students lies between Rs. 50/-Per month to 150/- per month and for secondary class students its about RS 250/- per month.
