Delhi public school society is considered as a one of the famous chain of schools all over India which is having around 120 branches in the world. They are best known for their standards, and the quality of the education provided by them is up to the mark and the Delhi public school, Sarjapur, Bangalore is one among the chain of institution of DPS society. Almost all the parents will be satisfied with the education system provided by the Delhi public society. They provide special care not only in the field of academics but also in indoor and outdoor games, discipline, caring to students, interacts with students.
Curriculum-
DPS chains of schools are fully accredited to C.B.S.E. (central board) syllabus. This school is having Class from pre-nursery till 10th standard.
Admission-
Usually admission starts during November for all the sections. The application form issue date will be announced in prior in their website, so that it will be convenient for the parents. Admission procedure for pre-nursery and nursery sections, general interaction sections with class teacher and principal will happen. And for the standard from 1st to 10th - there will be written test followed by the interaction session with the principal.
Language-
From U.K.G. till 5th standard, students are given option to choose their second language. From 6th till 12th students are asked to select their third language. Students are given wide range of options to choose the second and third language. French, German, Sanskrit, Hindi and other local language are some of the options given to the students while selecting the language.
Abacus session-
A special abacus program conducted by UCMAS is driven by the UCMAS organization, where the students can perform multiplication, division of 4-5 digits at a faster pace. This is considered as a optional subject starting from UKG, and if the parents and teachers are interested then they can make their kids to enroll for the same.
Faculty-
A well trained faculty from precursory to 10th standard is recruited. And the teachers are very much approachable and friendly in nature. They provide enormous training on how to increase the IQ level of the students. They conduct quiz and other brain development program to keep the kids occupied.
Child counseling center
A special child counseling center is organized by DPS Sarjapur, so that psychiatrist will have a regular visit in the school campus and provide counseling for the students regarding depression, sex education and special programs for adolescent teenagers so that they concentrate only on subjects rather than involving in other activities.
Extracurricular activities-
Many extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, music academy, indoor and outdoor games, hand writing, craft, art and other skills are being developed among the children.
Transport and Hostel-
They provide best transport facility in and around 25 km.s of the school. And the best hostel facility with good food, fruits are provided for the students to keep them healthy. A perfect room/dormitory with 2/3 people in a room, food, bed, bathroom are maintained very neatly. Apart from this, a special trainer for 15 students provides coaching to the hostel students.
Infrastructure-
A Well equipped computer, physics, chemical laboratory is maintained. Along with this separate building block for pre-nursery, nursery and higher standard is built with a good infrastructure which includes table, chair, and locker facility. A cricket academy is maintained in the school campus to encourage the physical activities of the children. A big library with wide variety of books is maintained. A good cafeteria with healthy food for working staffs and also for students is maintained. Internet and robotics lab are being designed in the campus to improve the education of the students.
Fee structure-
During admission around 93000 RS has to be paid inclusive of books fee, tuition fee, admission fee and uniform fee, in which 20000 is a refundable amount. And for the successive year the fee structure is somewhere around 60000 Rupees. This fee structure is apart from transport and hostel fee.
