Introduction
Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomoh is one of the best school in Gomoh. The school was established in 1988 on the demand of the Railways employees, guard, T.T, Driver and employee of loco shed. The main aim is to bring about all rounded development in the student. KVS envisions itself a world class organization in school education committed to continuously empowering teachers to actualize inside out synergy in students and enable them to fullfill national and global needs and aspirations.
Location
Gomoh is center point of Railway tracks division. Vidyalaya first opend in the railway building just near Gomoh Railways Station. After that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan constructed B type school building and 11 No. of staff quarters just near a mountainous scene half Km from Gomoh Railway station. The genesis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomoh, Dhanbad dates back to the year 1988. It functioned in the railway accommodation nears railway station till january 31, 2002 and moved to the new school building in Fabruary 2002. Since then the vidyalaya has been flourishing and growing continiously in various direction. The vidyalaya is running under Civil Sector.
School timings
School time starts from 7:00AM to 1:00AM.

Transport facilities available. All main routs are connected with the school. Any one can reach the school very easily.
Curriculum and Academic
The school follows the CBSE courses . The subjects are English, Mathematics, science (biology, chemistry, physics), social science, Hindi, Physical training and computer science.
Infrastructure and Facilities
The school is a big and beautiful building providing education to more than 800 students. Their are so many facility provides to the students. The school has physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics lab. SUPW room, games and sports room resource room with VCD television. The school also has library which has more than 4000 books. There is also a junior lab. A big playground is their for vallyball, cricket etc.
co- curricular activities
The school organizes various co- curricular activities such as singing competition, dancing competition, painting competition, annual sports, science week, Mathematics week, exhibition week and many more to bring out total physical and mental development. The school is diveded into four house. Such as Ramana House, Ashok House, Tagore House and Subhash House.
Admission and fee structure
The admission starts from April. The seats are available based on the academic performance and merits of the student. The admission fee coast is Rs 300/- and the monthly fee coast is 300 to 400 depending on the classes.
Conclusion
I think the environment, experienced faculty, facilities, high discipline are the merits of the school. Fee structure is one of the best advantage of the school which provides quality education at such affordable fee.
