This is one of the best universities in the State of Rajasthan with A grade by NAAC assessment. The campus has a safe and secure environment for students and faculty. The campus has a wonderful developed unit for plant biotechnology which is involved in many projects, including on endangered plant species. Research facilities are very good, as are the teaching faculty.

The university is well connected to other areas of the city. Transport via bus and auto is available easily.
