Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai Review
Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies is one of very the few good management institutes located in suburbs of Mumbai. Commuting to this college is pretty easy as it is approachable from Malad station, Goregaon station and Western Express Highway as well. This is a relatively new institute and so the infrastructure and facilities provided for students are pretty good. Even the faculty staff is decent always try to give valuable guidance to the management students. At this level, more than teaching, students require good professional guidance and this institute delivers satisfactorily in that regard (though nothing great). At the same time, I feel that this institute can ramp up some more good professors to guide a large number of students giving equal attention to all.
The canteen of this college is decent at best and many students prefer to eat outside due to lack of space in the canteen. There are some very good and cheap options for eating outside the college as Malad is an area full of food lovers.
"Mauj", the annual cultural festival of Durgadevi Saraf Institute is conducted very well and students participate in it with great zeal and enthusiasm.
