The Jesuit society of Jamshedpur has been managing a group of De Nobili Schools in the coal belts of Dhanbad-Jharia-Bokaro for the past few decades and till now it has churned thousands of well educated and professionally successful individuals through sound management ,highly distinguished faculty,solid infrastructure and high class facilities.
One of the schools belonging to this group is located in the Sindri area of Dhanbad district which used to be an important fertiliser production centre.
The school is co-educational,an important aspect in bridging the gap between growing male and female students exposing them to a confident and uninhibitive life.
The school has about 2000 students studying in classes nursery to xii.The school has a big campus consisting of the school building,a big playground,well stocked library,laboratories for all streams of science,computer education facilities.
The students here are blessed to have teachers who pay attention to their academic needs to perfection as well as to co-curricular and extra curricular activities like elocution,debates,sports,cultural activities.
The plus two section has the advantage of all the three streams viz.science,commerce and arts.
The school is ICSE affiliated and thus very wide and foresighted in approach.
The medium of instruction is English which is very helpful for the students in improving their language skills.
The only one thing that I can say negative about the school or for that matter ICSE schools is that they lack a network of sporting activities involving students in all India competitions which does not help to bring about the best of talents to the fore front.One more drawback is a lack of hostel for outstation students.

Good: Infrastructure,faculty,overall educational ambience,English as medium of instruction,ICSE board.
Bad: Lack of inter school sporting events and of the national level too,no hostel facilities
