Siddaganga Institute of technology was established on 1963,BH road,Tumkur around 70 KM away from Bangalore/Bengaluru.The college is running under Sree Siddaganga Education Society.An autonomous institute and affiliated to VTU,belgaum.It is recognized by AICTE,and accredited by NBA.Its undergraduate courses are Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation,ie NBA.
The Institute is one of the 14 Engineering Colleges under the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) a World Bank Project.
The placement facility of this college is excellent and in every year students get placed top most MNCs like Infosys,Wipro,TCS,IBM,Robert Bosch,Mysore Petrochemicals,Grasim Industries and in many more.More than 80% students placed every year in different organisations.
Companies are also coming to hire students from this institute,because of the institution standard,and the quality of education.
