The school is basically a Government Telugu medium school functions under the village administration committee for which the funds are sanctioned by Zilla Parishads(District administration).Inception of the school took place in the early 1950s soon after Independence in which high morale valued staff used to work and impart education to the students. There are 25 teachers imparting education in the school. There was no high school near by 10Km, it was very difficult to the students to come and learn from the school. Of course there are many private schools raised now-a-days in the village. Still The school has its own image in the society as it is only government high school near by. The school is standing in such a place that no sound pollution will disturb the function of the school like any other school in many other areas. The school has adopted dual medium education policy with the state government changing the education policy and introduced English medium education in government schools from 6th standard onwards. It was high time when school developed with total number of students up to 600 in the year 1976 under the HM Sri JSR Murthy. since then the school has developed in many ways.
