Trichy Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli Review
I am writing this review based on the experience which I have gathered over there in my academic years. It is a division of Mookambikai Engineering college which is also in Trichy. They are offering courses such as:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Computer Science and
Information Technology
From 2012 they started PG courses for the following majors:
Communication Systems and
Applied Electronics
They always give first preference to discipline and studies. Its a combined educational institution but still they allow only reasonable conversation between boys and girls. Ragging is strictly punishable. I never faced any experience and any such kind of difficulties over there. I felt secure and the faculty members are kind and talented. They conduct 15 minutes tests every day.
Bus services are available up to 60Kms from the college and the fees charged by them is also very reasonable. They follow a decent dress code for both boys and girls. It is one of the good institutions according to me. Like other colleges symposiums, cultural woman's day celebrations sports, NSS are there as a extra curricular activities.
Compared to other institutions they wont give any assurance about placements but still they are guiding the talented students by conducting assessments. In my batch 30 students have been placed and 15 have been short listed by HCL, Infosys and WIPRO in off campus recruitment drive.
