Priyadarshani School is a well known school in Pune. Established in 1983, in today's day it holds a reputed position. It is known for its quality education. Priyadarshani school is a group of its branches spread in Bhosari, Indrayaninagar, Moshi, Chakan and Alandi. It was originated from Bhosari. Bhosari branch runs classes from nursery to higher secondary classes and other branches are limited till secondary classes. Parents agree with the education system of the school but some of them do not agree with the fee structure. They think of it as higher as compared to others. Despite this, the strength of the school is increasing every year.
Infrastructure School campus is expanded amidst natural environment. Special care taken of its closeness with nature.
Infrastructure comprises of multi storey school building, science laboratories, library, computer laboratory and maths laboratory.
Classrooms are spacious and airy, provided with good furniture.
Library equipped with sufficient number of books in every category.
Separate laboratories provided for physics, chemistry and biology.
Computer laboratory well facilitated with sufficient number of computers, educational CDs and latest hardware and software. Each student learns on a single computer. Computer education being taught here since class 1.
Pick and drop facility available by school buses.
Playgrounds available - it is sufficient but not very spacious.
Location All the school branches of this group are located neither too far nor too close with each other. Location is easily accessible but you won't find direct buses to reach there. Autorickshaws can get you there direct, otherwise you can drive your own vehicle too.
Faculty Teachers and other staff members are well qualified. Some of the teachers are associated with this school since many years.
Other features This school doesn't let students relax in terms of discipline. They are supposed to be disciplined in every aspect. As it is English medium school, students are strictly prohibited to use language other than English.
Academics is well balanced with sports and extra curricular activities. Sports including cricket, volleyball, handball, softball, boxing, throw ball, badminton, table tennis and chess.
It doesn't have its own auditorium and its annual function and other events are organized in rented auditorium.
This school strongly supports tree plantation. Recently a program called "Clean India-Green India-Save India" was organized by Univart Foundation of Art and Environmental Research Center in Priyadarshani School, Moshi.
Every year this school organizes scout and guide camp within the school for a day and night. Students participate with enthusiasm.
Also Fun fair celebration takes place every year, where students and teachers participate with zeal and work hard to make it successful.
Admission starts in the month of January and academic semester starts in the month of June.
