Review By: Cijo George Thomas    Review Date: 25 Oct 2014    Mar Baselios Institute of Technology and Science (MBITS) is one of the emerging private self financing colleges located in a beautiful town named Nellimattom near Kothamangalam. The college is established in the year 2009 and within these few years they have managed to gain much impression in the society. The highlight of this college is the faculty who are highly skilled. Laboratories are fully equipped and students are guided in the right manner for presenting practical works. The college provides decent placements for those students who are eligible after 4 years. The college has an appreciable canteen and store for students. The seminar hall is one of the best places of MBITS which is specially designed with audiovisual facilities and top class sound systems. The college has spacious classrooms with good ventilation. The browsing hall with more than hundreds of computers is also a highlighting aspect. Transportation facility is good. The management tries their level best to develop this institution day by day. The infrastructure of the college is very much disappointing as there are still a few parts of the new block to be constructed. There is no hostel facility for the students and the girls hostel (a nine storied building with elevators) is also under construction. But private hostels are arranged outside the campus under the inspection of the managing members. The college doesn't give much preference to sports even though they have football, badminton and volleyball courts. Rating: 5 on 10. Read complete review
