Govt Secondary School, Bengali Teressa Island Review


The Govt. Secondary school is located at Teressa Island, one of the Islands of Nicobar District. No public is allowed to go to the Islands as it is a Tribal area. Nicobari Tribes are living on this Island and thus the children of Nicobari Tribal people are studying in this school. Ship service and Helicopter service is available from Port Blair. This school has good infrastructure and other basic facilities. Teachers go to this school on transfer from other parts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. We can see the teachers of this school on long leave as they move to Port Blair from time to time which hampers the studies of children.
