Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, Cochin Review If you believe that engineering life has everything to do with campus and stuff other than rote learning, this is your best bet when it comes to a private engineering college in Kerala.
The sheer look and feel of the campus landscape just makes you want to stay there the whole day. The buildings and the landscaping of the lawns are picture perfect. If you ever had to bunk a class or two, which is rare, RSET provides the best place inside their campus. My favorite one is the lawn strech near the ground. The specialty of this is that you can rest under the shade of the palm trees while watching RSET stars battle it out on their grounds (they have 3 of them!).
Don't think that the picturesque landscape was all that this college had to offer. Here comes another one - in the center of their campus, just next to the canteen, they have a mini zoo! I still remember the astonishment on my friend's face when he saw an emu/ostrich like bird in it. If you are lucky you might even spot a few swans lurking around the small canal that runs adjacent to their ground.
But RSET is much more than the looks. They are good too when it comes to curricular and co curricular activities. They have a small yet well furnished library with the latest textbooks, magazines, references and even the latest best sellers. They are also famous across Kerala for the inner state departmental activities they conduct like Maths quizzes. The unique feature of RSET which distinguishes it from other private engineering colleges in Kerala is it's admission system. It ensures that the best scholastic minds and the best orators and leaders come together at the same campus.
The only two negatives which I could find were the lack of accessibility to the campus (unless you are a hostelier or avail college bus facility) and the price of foods in canteen. If you can adjust with these, then RSET is one of the best colleges you can find.
