Hindu College, Delhi Review
Hindu college is one of the best science college in India which is situated in Delhi. The students from all over India come here for admission but it is not easy to get admission to all. It is really very difficult to get admission as the percentage of marks required for science is 85% and the seats are just 2000. And the college never exceeded its seat beyond 2000. So, lucky are those students who studied in this college and who get admission in it.
The college is situated just opposite to St. Stephens college. Those who know Stephens address would definitely find out this college. The building of the college is in red and yellow combination, the college building is very beautiful as it is very old college say 110 years old as it was established in the year 1899. The campus is very cool and very nice. For more easy way I would like to add that this college is situated next to Delhi School of Economics. It is located in North Campus, now any one can fin out..:-)
The hostel facility is only for boys and the hostel is inside the college, very nice and cool, boys just had lots of fun there, all the facilities are provided to them. The campus environment is very nice.
This college is top 5 among all the science colleges in India. It is Arts and Science college but in Science it is stands No.1, the atmosphere here is very nice, friendly environment, teachers are very nice and helpful and the students are all very intelligent as only toppers gets admission so naturally all are intelligent..:-) Sometimes it is very difficult to identify who is teacher and who is students as they are so much get together that it seems they are friends. The education system is very good..Professors are very talented and tries their best to give to their students.
Remember the movie "Sarfarosh" casting Amir Khan and Sonali Bendre, the suiting has been done in this college showing actual terrace of the Hindi Prof and his house as well. Also they suited the campus and therefore now you can imagine how popular this college would be..:-)
Well, canteen is very affordable and good. They organize various functions and celebrates all the festivals in the college, not only freshers but all get indulge in it and celebrate it with great fun. Outsiders also come and enjoy with them.
The library is very good and have almost all the books and encyclopedia as well. Well, one thing I would like to tell you that the principal of the college is also very old. She is very nice and dedicated to her work. She has been working here for last 10 years as a Principal. Her name is Kavita Sharma. She is very nice by heart. All are very proud of her as she deliver such a nice students all over India who are working now for big big post not only in India but abroad as well.
My friends has been studied in this college and I use to go there regularly and enjoy food in canteen together. We use to hang out there, the campus atmosphere is very nice. I just loved it.
