This school was founded in the year 1917 and this is the oldest school in the area managed by the St Stanislaus Forane Church in Mala. Initially this school was started with lower primary level. With the dedicated hard work of its founder Sir Joseph Boore , the Diwan of Kochi , this school was managed by the Govt of Kerala from 1917 to 1927. The school was raised to the statusof High school in 1938. Then gradually the school attained the higher secondary level in the later stage.
Being the oldest school of the region, many senior citizens who have taken studies here are cherishing their memories. Most of the senior citizens insists that their great grand children must also study in this school only for its quality education.
