Creane Memorial High School, Gaya, Gaya Review Creane Memorial High School, Gaya was established in 1966. This is mainly a Christian school but open to students of all religions and communities. It is one of the oldest and prestigious school of Gaya city which provides best facility to its students.
The campus of the school is not very big as it should be. The infrastructure is good, though, with well furnished and airy classrooms. But because of the small campus, the playground is not that big.
Creane Memorial has some of the best teachers of Gaya who are teaching large number of students in various classes. In the higher secondary section, classes run for long hours and sometime on Sunday too; this causes a lot inconvenience to students because they don't get much time for self study.
There are separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and other subjects which are well equipped with modern apparatus. Computer lab houses more than 100 computers and each one is up to date.
There is a music room but it has not many instruments. There are no dance rooms and the music room is used for the purpose when needed. The school organises several competitions and cultural events periodically.
For transporting students from different corners of the city, the school runs some buses along with autorickshaws, but the condition of those buses and rickshaws is very poor. Most of them are very old and emit harmful and poisonous gases. They teach the children to minimize pollution in the class but the school administration pays no attention toward it that they are contributing in increasing pollution.
