General Information and School Infrastructure
I had the privilege of doing my 11th and 12th from this school. This school is affiliated to CBSE and the teachers who taught us were the best, with a very good balance in studies and extra-curriculum activities. 3.The administration and management are very good and teachers are highly qualified. The school is very strict with discipline and timings.
The school is very hygienic and well maintained. There is a huge library with a very rich collection of books. 5. Stationery is provided by the school in the school stationery office for the students.
From time to time there are cultural events and sports activities to encourage the students. There is a church in the premises, where students usually spend most of the time there before entering the class.
Vimalagiri Bhavan - School Hostel I was also part of the school's hostel "Vimalagiri Bhavan", which has very good facilities and a very disciplined environment. The hostel is just a few kms away from the school and sometimes we used to even go walking to school. There are two hostels for boys and girls. The girl's hostel is managed by the sisters of the Catholic church and the boys hostel is managed by the Church Priests. The hostel hosts students from Ist to 12th Std. They have two dorms for seniors and juniors and a very big study hall. The mess is on the ground floor. The hostel is on the 2nd floor.
Transport Facility Transport facility was free for Hostel Students. MA college is near to this school. For students who use local transport, the bus stop is just a few minutes walk. There are a few stationery shops and gifts shops just opposite to the school. They charge a certain amount for students using bus facility but the same is free for hostelers.
Cons: 1. Canteen is yet to be introduced into the school.
2. Sports ground is not there, we have to go to another location during the sports event.
Overall wonderful experience.
