Nirmala College, Ranchi Review
Nirmala College is a girls Chirstian College, it is very strict and just like school discipline. There college maintain the discipline and the students too.
Here only female teachers are teaching. It was founded in August 1969 by the Society of Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary. The Society exercises its responsibility over Nirmala College through a Governing Body. It was situated in Doranda near by R & D Office, the primary objective of providing university education in a Christian atmosphere for deserving women students, and those belonging to the Catholic community. Although this college is meant primarily for Catholics, it admits other students irrespective of caste and creed. The college aims at training young women to be successful in all walks of life and whom we hope will play a vital role in bringing about the desired changes for the betterment of the people of our country, more particularly of the poorer and marginalized sections of society.
Nirmala College is affiliated with ranchi University. Here there is no commerce education, Arts and science tream students are able to take admission in this college.The sisters are very strict and the way of study is very nice. the teachers teaches the students very well.
The college premises comprises of hostel, and canteen facility also.
Those who come out from other station are able to take admission in hostel and enjoy there with full zeal.
I have also completed my Intermediate in science stream with Mathematics in 2003. The experinces there is very nice and always remember the days which i have spend there with my friends. After clasees we always use to visit canteen to have chat becuase the canteen is famous for chat, we also celebrate the birthdays of our friends in canteen because it is at reasonable price and students can afford it easily.
There was a big ground and sports are organised there i also take part in the sports but didnt get any prize.that was very embrassing for me.
My advice to all the student to take admission and enjoy the study as well as other events but dont forget to cross out of discipline
