Commonly called Nagbani School it is the oldest school of the state. Earlier it was only for poor students of the state and was set up by the King of J&K for poors only but later it started admissions of general students also.
It is managed by a Trust so its fees are quite low as compared to other CBSE Schools of the state.
The teachers are hardworking and cooperative and contribute a lot in the day to day activities of the school. Academics are given due importance alongwith extra cocurricular activities and the school is an active participant in all the state level interschool competitions and debates.
The students shows high results in Academics as well as Entrance Exams and this is a plus point of the institute. The infrastructure and the surrounding atmosphere is quite peaceful and refreshing.
The only limitation is that it is somewhat away from the main city but that is not a problem worth worrying looking at the transport facility of the school. The labs and the building structure is great and all requirements are available. Overall it is quite a good school for admission.
