Being the only Hindi medium school in Akurdi, this school is famous among North Indians residing in Akurdi and nearby areas. It is a private aided school.
LocationIt is situated at one side of Akurdi chowk on the Mumbai Pune Highway near the locally famous Khandoba temple. Bus stand and auto stand are both are available in the vicinity. With direct bus or auto, one can get you there easily. Buses and autos are more frequent in this area. This school doesn't provide pick and drop facility for students.
InfrastructureSchool infrastructure comprises of a 2 storeyed building just enough for the students. Classes are taken in shifts to accommodate various batches without conflict.
It has two playgrounds, one inside the school building and another at the back. A crowded parking area is available inside the school campus where students park their cycles. Some of them also park outside the school gate due to lack of space in parking.
This school does not have its own auditorium. Annual functions and other events get organized in a rented auditorium. No hostel facility is available for students.
Teaching and other activitiesTeachers are well educated and experienced. Teaching is good enough. NCC, Scouts and Guides training also provided. Students are encouraged in sports.
