Review: Strictly don't recommend admission to Surana Vidyalaya Chandapura
Review By: Mahadevan    Review Date: 03 Dec 2018

This School has no discipline overall. I can quote many examples, some are below:

1. My son studies in Grade 1 in Surana Vidyalaya, Chandapura, and we paid Rs. 1900/- for the school uniform at the beginning of the academic year. You won't believe we didn't receive the sports uniform yet (December 2018), and for the same, the school celebrated Annual Day last week without even providing uniforms to all students. It's not only in our case, but most of the students also haven't received the uniform. In some cases, they provided only one set of regular uniform to students. Two months back when we asked for the uniform they admin panel responded that the owner of the Uniform Contractor firm expired so there was a delay. Now almost we have finished paying all term fees. This week when we approached for an update on the uniform, the admin panel responds coolly, saying that the owner of the Uniform Contractor firm ran away and they can do nothing. He also told us we paid fees to the Contractor and not to the School, so school is not responsible for the money or uniform and that we should reach to the Contractor for the money. They don't even have the courtesy to say sorry and accept the truth to parents. The contractor was arranged by the School, the schedule for paying fees and measurement was messaged by the School, now the School says they are not responsible! It is a shame on the school. I am not worried about losing the money but wonder how can such a school teach good morals to students?

2. Similarly, on Annual Day, they provided only 2 passes for the Father and the Mother, and told, for additional passes we need to pay Rs.50/-, are grandparents not part of the family? What about the siblings of students?

3. Don't get deceived by the colourful photos on the school websites and facilities. We paid Rs.500/- per month for a badminton course for my son as an extracurricular activity, but my son was never given a chance to hold the badminton racquet so we stooped him attending the training after 4 months, seeing there is no use in paying fees.
