Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration, Kolkata is maintaining its excellent services in the education of undergraduate courses in commerce for many years. A Postgraduate Course in Commerce and a professional course Master of business administration (MBA) has also been added, though it was not there at our time of study in 1987. Being a Govt. College under the University of Calcutta, is providing very low-cost education with an excellent standard of learning with its dedicated Faculty in all subjects and disciplines. It becomes a dream of most commerce students to study in this college. Students with higher marks obtained in the higher secondary examination can get a chance for admission.
At present, the Campus selection department has recorded the highest results for the selection of students with high pay packages in reputed companies. Besides education, the college is offering cultural and sports activities for its student.
All infrastructure available in the college is of high standard. There is a campus canteen with standard food and snacks at a subsidized rate for the students. There is hostel facilities for outstation boys in the Hindu boys hostel of Kolkata university. There is a common room for boys and girls in the college building with a Table tennis board, carom board etc.
There are student unions in the college who are maintaining good relation with the college authority.
