Avinashilingam University is the best platform to begin the career for womens.It was established by the patriot Dr.T.S.Avinashilingam in 1957 with only 45 students but now it has reached about 10,000 students.This was the great achievement.
It has got seven different faculties like Home science,Science,Humanities,Education,Business administration,Engineering and Community Education,Entrepreneurship Development.Each Faculty has got a Dean,under her the several departments and staff members.
The college has given different facilities for the students like Computer centre,Library,Gandhian study centre,Hostel,Auditorium,Canteen,Health centre,Stationary,Bank(Indian Bank).
In my university I did my Computer Science and Engineering.The course is really good.Coaching is good not only in my department but also in all the departments.Excellent lab facility for each department.
Apart from studies they also conduct Symposiums,Inter college culturals,Hostel Day celebration,and also Seminars from other college lecturers.
Rather than studies they also promote different oppurtunities for Extra curricular activities like NSS.
Campus recrutment takes place in our college from the seventh semester onwards.80% of the students will surely get placed in the top MNCs.
