SCMS School of Engineering and Technology is located in Karukutty. The college is affiliated to M.G University and is one of the best among self-financing colleges in Kerala. It has always been rated in the top three in Kerala. It has rank holders within its ranks.
The teachers have good experience and are well qualified. The college has very good lab facilities. The college has its main focus on academics. It can be seen as good as well as bad. Good in the sense that they build ourselves to the level of rank holders but concentrating only in the academics wont serve the purpose. When campus recruitment happens, we should have some qualities backing us like management skills, leadership qualities.
The college has good hostel and library facilities. There are over 17000 titles available. The accessibility is definitely a problem in a sense. Although college bus is available, the private bus service is limited. There are only a few buses running and you may get only 2-3 every hour.
The fee structure is as per the norms set by the Kerala government.
