Description
Seshadripuram College, which gave me best education, which is required to live happily, where I am today. It is one of the oldest colleges in Bangalore, which situated in the heart of the city and buses are abundant from all over the city.
In fact, I have completed my graduation in Commerce in the year 1981, at that time Sri.Somayajulu, was the principal, a strict disciplinarian, he used to take almost 3-4 subjects like, English, Statistics and Maths, as he had post graduation in both Arts and Commerce.
My favorite lecturer at that time was Sri.Dorairaju, who was taking Accountancy classes, he is so professional that sometimes, used to find answer by working on desks itself.
Sri.Narahalli Balasubramanya, was a Kannada Lecturer when I was studying at that college, now he is the principal of that college.
Regarding college, it was started in the year 1973, by a educational visionary and their motto is To empower every individual with knowledge and self confidence, in fact it was started in the year 1944, but initially it was founded by two great persons in the year 1930 namely, Anandamma and Smt. Seethamma who have started a primary school with just about 20 children in a two roomed house in the present main Campus of Seshadripuram.
This trust boasting of running around 24 educational institutions right from kinder garden to post graduation, the collegiate education starts from B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., Diploma in Pharmacy, L.L.B., D.Ed., MBA, BBM and M.A. in English and Kannada.

Major Accreditation granted :
B++ grade has been granted by N.A.A.C. (The National Accreditation & Assessment Council) to this college for 5 years period.
Another 5 years granted by the National Accreditation & Assessment Council (NAAC)as Grad B to the evening degree college.
Seshadripuram Teacher Training Institute which has been duly approved in the year 2005 by the National Council of Technical Education and Government of Karnataka with an intake capacity of 50 students to D.Ed., course in the English Medium.
High end courses like Biotechnology and Genetics were also started keeping in view the latest technology innovations.
Some achievements
In Seshadripuram High School, The Bharat Sevadal has completed 50 years, which is a wing in this trust.
This college boasts, around 25 lecturers have Ph.D and where as in High School many have M.Phil and Ph.D. holders as Teachers.
This college provides all types of encouragements to its teachers to obtain higher qualification, to keep the quality of teachers.
