Situated in Bodh Gaya, the land of knowledge and enlightment, Gyan Bharti Residential Complex (GBRC) was founded in 1988 and since then this school has contributed a lot in educating the society. This is one of the oldest school of Gaya city which has endowed many talents including several engineers from prestigious institute of this country like IIT, NIT, many doctors, officers and civil servants who are contributing for the welfare of this country.
The school has big campus which includes hostel, school and playground. GBRC is known for its discipline and result oriented teaching methods. There are many specification which make it count in the list of few prestigious school of Bihar.
Location : GBRC is located in Bodh Gaya, the place where Lord Buddha got enlightenment. Situted away from the hustle and bustle city, the calm environment helps in creating a learning atmosphere for students.
Infrastructure : GBRC has a big campus and an excellent infrastructure. It has well ventilated and airy class room. There is an auditorium room with a capacity of more than 1000 people at a time. There are modern laboratories for subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology with all the latest equipment. There is also a big computer lab which has more than 100 computer system to provide knowledge of computer to students.
Transportation : The school runs a network of more than 50 buses to carry students to school from different parts of the city. All the drivers are trained and qualified.
Faculty : GBRC has the best faculty as there are some of the best teachers of Gaya city, who are popular for their knowledge and teaching style all over the state. All the teachers are well trained and highly qualified. They all are expert in their respective subjects and are very friendly with students.
Games and Sports : The school has a big playground with separate court for Basket ball, Volleyball, Tennis and Badminton. There is also a big playground for playing games like cricket, football and hockey. Large number of students from GBRC participate in different games and sport events organised across the state and country every year. The school has produced many athletes and players who have played at national level. The school also organizes several inter-school and intra-school events and competitions from time to time.
Academic Records : As stated above, GBRC is famous for its result oriented teaching methods. The school produces every year district toppers in different streams and examination including annual board examination organized by CBSE. The school has an excellent track record in academics since its establishment.
Hostel : There is also a hostel in the campus itself for boys. Students from different states resides here. These hostels have all the modern facility that an ideal hostel should have.
Besides these there are many other facilities which helps and encourages students to learn and apply theoratical knowledge on new innovation. There is also a big library which has thousands of books to help students in reference and enriching their depth of knowledge in the topic of their interest.
