Bhavans vidyashram, Bhimavarm was started as the first and the foremost project of Bhavans Bhimavaram Kendra, on an auspicious day of 15th August 1983. Its sponsoring body "The West Godavari Rice Millers District Welfare Fund society" came forward to provide all physical infrastructural facilities. Under the dynamic leadership and guidance of its founder Chairman(Late) Sri K. Dharma Rao and that of the present Managing Committee, the School developed very fast in physical and academic setting.
Today the School has, besides academic block, a good hostel with capacity of 400 accomidating students, staff quarters and playground spread over a large area. It has all provisions within the campus to meet the daily needs of the children and the best of the academics various parts of the country. Our teachers have contributed well towards creative academic environment. Innovations through our "Educational Resource Centre" are a part of normal academic programme. Emphasis on teaching of Indian Culture and its values and synthesizing it with modern education is a special feature and this school is one of the premier institutions of Bharatiya vidya Bhavan.
