Introduction
This is the only school in Thalassery town that does not need any good reviews or comments to prove itself to be worthy.Over Ten decades of dedicated, self-sacrificing service and excellence in the field of quality education has made Sacred Heart Girls High School,a landmark in the history of Thalassery.
Established in 1886 this is a girls convent which offers quality education from class 1 to class 10. the strength of the school is very high and it follows Kerala state syllabus and medium of instruction is in Malayalam and English.
Working hours
Sacred Heart Girls High School functions from Monday to Friday from 9.30 A.M to 4.00 P.M
Transport and fees
The school is situated in the heart of the town hence it is well connected by private as well as public transport. The fee structure is also very reasonable.
Faculty
It has a faculty strength of 35 Highly experienced and well qualified all female teachers, and they are always ready to guide students in the right way.
Laboratory
the school has well equipped biology, physics, chemistry and computer and IT laboratories and well trained lab technicians to help the students in their practical work.
Library and Reading room
The school has a well maintained library with a good collection of all kinds of books, news papers and study magazines. the students can visit the library when ever they want and read peacefully in the reading room.
Study Tours and Science fairs
The School conducts study tours every year to various places of Historical, Scientific and Literary importance.Science Fair is conducted every year and the Students also take part in district-state-national level competitions.
Co-Curricular Clubs
Clubs are work groups for students who show an extra or special interest in a particular subject or activity. The school has science club, maths club, social science club, eco club, health club, literary and arts club. All these clubs enable students to polish their talents win national and state level competitions, release magazines,publish articles and poems, learn and experience various forms of Art like dance, music, drama and painting.
Sports
The school has a large play ground. The school conducts annual sports day competitions in athletics, volley ball, badminton and hockey to discover the young talents to take part in further competitions in District-State-National levels.

the school has well trained music teacher. moreover students are taught vocal, instrumental and classical music.

Students are taught various dance forms as well as yoga.

The school has reached great heights not only in academics but also in various co-curricular and extra curricular activities. students of Sacred Heart Girls high school have become state level and district level toppers in SSLC exams for several consecutive years.
Students also won in several fields of youth festival conducted by SCERT. And topped in various state level and national level seminars.
The school has also developed its own website, has several alumni re unions, has well developed junior red cross and guides.The school also provides noon meals.
