TKM institute of Technology is one of the prestigious institution in India for Engineering. The college is located in the outskirts of the city serene area near to Kollam.It is well connected with city buses &autorickshaws. College owned buses are also available at affordable rates from every point in the city. Almost 90% of students with good academic record is placed in leading IT companies. More than 60% Teachers are experienced of more than 5-15 years. Atmosphere of college is very good for learning Main plus of this college is the most modern equipped lab facility available for engineering students. In every department including HOD participate in teaching and also have best level of experience including IIT graduate n M-Tech graduate. Overall placements of the college is very good specially the Mechanical and electrical department. (subject to change) Major companies are Mahindra and Mahindra, L & T, Bosch, TCS, Infosys, India Bulls, General Motors, TATA motors etc. Also World-class library having over 40,000 books, more than 100 subscribed magazines and a E-library also. Regarding co-curricular activities, this is the best place to expose your skills.
Overall i will give 8/10 to this college in comparison to other Engineering colleges in Kerala
