Good: Extra curricular activities are given prominence, encouragement is provided through fests and workshops, healthy atmosphere guaranteed.
Bad: Transport facility is poor and buses look in a very dilapitated condition. No proper security to students on National Highway since it lies across Highway-5, not so reputed in terms of academics.

Pydah College Of Engineering & Technology, Visakhapatnam Review
I am not a student of Pydah but still I am interested in expressing my views about this college since this is a review and I am free to express my views and public talk about this college.
Pydah College, though not one of the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh state, still it has its unique identity in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. It has a name to its quality in CSE branch mainly. The college has a good campus with large area. All the branches are embedded into the same building as in many other local Engineering colleges which is a drawback for the campus organisation. It frequently conducts fests and many workshops on useful topics and encourages students and aspirants from other colleges even to participate here and gain sufficient knowledge. I had attended a workshop based on " Ethical Hacking " on which I am interested a lot. It was undergone with the guest lectures of some professionals from top most colleges in India who visited to Pydah.
Similarly, many more events are conducted always in this college and hence encouragement is provided through them. Backlogs with this college are the transport facilities provided by this college. It is not so healthy to watch their buses because those buses look very cheap and ugly which makes us to lose interest in the college and hence brings a bad name to the college. Also the management need to provide safety for its students since its just on National Highway - 5, the road zone is prone to accidents regularly. There is no good bus stop for the college though the college is the landmark of the bus stop. Its so very near from Vizag city but the bus fees is so high that is not at all reasonable.
Therefore, the main backlog is transport maintenance. Many colleges far from this are much more famous than this college because of their transport facilities of which our MVGR College of Engineering is the best since its bus fee is so low though it is located in other town Vizianagaram. MVGR college bus fee from Vizag city is same as the bus fee of this college which is located in the City at a distance of just 15 kms from the main city. Also this college needs to strive much more seriously regarding academics because Academic result is the main thing which gives good reputation to any college like Gayathri College of Engineering whihc is very small as compared to Pydah college of Engineering but still is not at all in a position to atleast compete with Gayathri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering.
Hence,I finally complete my review saying that this college meets all the requirements needed for an Engineering College in terms of Laboratory equipment, Infrastructure, college buildings, play grounds, seminar halls, extra curricular activities, etc. The main thing which I forgot to say is that this college belongs to Mr. Shri. Rosayyai who is the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state and now is proposed as Governor for Tamil Nadu state who will be in charge very soon. Hence, Campus Placements are available to atleast a small extent which assigns it in some rank. It needs to improve more in Academics so that it would attain a good ranking among other colleges of Andhra Pradesh.
