Govt Secondary School, Gandhinagar, Great Nicobar is located just 15 kms prior to the southern most tip of India-Indira Point. So this school has is credited with being the southernmost secondary school of India. This school was badly affected by the giant Tsunami waves during 2014 but still anyhow managed to recover and get back into form. This is a Hindi medium school. STS buses are the only transport sources in this area. It is located around 30kms from Campbell Bay, the main city of Great Nicobar Islands.
